Lemongrass

Use the leaves and roots as an infusion or tea or used as a culinary herb.

  1. Antimicrobial: It contains constituents that are antimicrobial and can be effective against biofilms which coat viruses, bacteria and fungi (such as candida)

  2. Immune System: Promotes a healthy balanced immune system by protecting healthy cells and discouraging a proliferation of malfunctioning cells. The constituents geranial and neral in lemongrass are antioxidants. Citral also discourages the body from overproducing cytokines which can lead to inflammation or a damaging immune response such as a cytokine storm.

  3. Use for the common cold, fevers, cough, thrush and digestive issues.
