Immune System: Promotes a healthy balanced immune system by protecting healthy cells and discouraging a proliferation of malfunctioning cells. The constituents geranial and neral in lemongrass are antioxidants. Citral also discourages the body from overproducing cytokines which can lead to inflammation or a damaging immune response such as a cytokine storm.
